Do you want to know the best recharge plan for you and your parents? If you are confused by the sheer number of plans by the telecom players, you are not alone. There are millions of people who are just like you. Today we’ll look at TN circle and Reliance.
Why do I say so?
The customer just thinks that he gets value for the money he spends and most of them just do a full talktime recharge/topup. Many people also just use some rate cutter to reduce the rate/call etc. But they’ll invariably end up spending more if they do the math.
Just look at how Tata Docomo is successfully confusing millions of customers with their recharge plans. But you can find the best value recharge for your money when you just do a bit of research.
So you would have got a clear idea why these companies come up with 100’s of irrelevant plans. As for Reliance is concerned in the TN circle, there used to be a Rs. 98 plan. Which came with 21 days validity and had 330 minutes of local or STD talktime value. Is the plan still around?
The answer is ‘NO’.
Which plan should you choose now? They have come up with a better plan. Excited? But you’ll end up spending more when you look at the per annum expense. But do you get value for money? Definitely!
The plan am referring to here is the new unlimited plan and the recharge value is Rs.295.
This plan has everything that you’d ask for except the ‘data’. You can make unlimited local calls to any number and you’ll also get 30 mins/day for STD. The validity is 28 days.
How about the Rs.245 plan? Well if you need some data then go for it or else Rs.295 is the best plan as of Oct 2015.
Note: Even when you do recharge through Paytm for discount on recharges, you’ll be surprised to see some plans missing. So figure out which plan you want to go ahead with and then go to Paytm for your recharge.
Do let me know in the comments below which network do you use and the recharge plan that you generally end up with?
